Rincon Water Damage

As you can see, the copper water line in the subflooring of the second story of this home in Rincon sprung a leak that resulted in slowly escalating water damage. The water stains on the ceiling finally caught the attention of the homeowner who then called us in for help. Our SERVPRO ASD, Applied Structural Drying, technician has many years experience in this type of water damaging event. After the water source stopped, the ceiling and a portion of the wall, were opened up and this drywall material was discarded. Though there was no evidence of mold growth, we applied an antifungal agent to the opened areas, sanitized them, and completed the drying process of the building materials. Air movers and dehumidifiers expedited the evaporation and elimination of moisture.
